For the 17th year, the Rotary Club of New Port Richey will come together for the John Hudson Rotary Santa Program in order to give many local deserving families a Christmas to remember.
The program was started by our long time member, John Hudson, and we continue to honor his vision. John’s wishes were that local deserving children be touched by the magic of Christmas. Each year around 40 families, comprising approximately 125 children, are selected. Our Rotarian members personally select the toys and necessities as requested by the families; we wrap each gift and label it with the name of the child. A Rotarian, dressed as Santa Claus, along with his Merry Elves, will visit their homes to deliver toys, clothes, linens and other necessities such as toothbrushes, blankets, and hair cuts. A Christmas dinner will be provided to each family. Without Rotary Santa, many of these families would not have a Christmas.
With this reflection in mind, we are asking for your help by making a generous contribution to this program. To donate to the John Hudson Rotary Santa Program, you can mail a check payable to our 501(c)(3) account, The New Port Richey Rotary Fund, P.O.
